Where is my data going?
The information you provide via our website or via email will be held by Progressive Content Ltd – the “Data controller” under the GDPR and related data protection legislation. If you want to get in touch with us, you can do so at any time either through the contact forms on this site, or by emailing email@example.com.
What is my data being used for?
Your data may be kept for a handful of reasons depending on where you provide it to us. This may include:
- Subscription to our newsletter database
- A request to be contacted as a result of an enquiry or question posted through our ‘contact us’ section. You will not be sent any other materials without your explicit consent.
E-mails sent via our ‘contact us’ page are dealt with on a case-by-case basis, however no data is kept for longer than is necessary.
Newsletter data will be kept until your consent is withdrawn or if you no longer engage with or open materials we send over.
Who else will be able to see my information?
None of your personal data will be used for any purpose outside of those stated above. To that end, nothing you provide to us will be shared with third parties outside of that required for the fulfilment of agreed tasks.
E-mail newsletters and updates sent by us are done so through MailChimp – our e-mail data processor. All data stored through them is done so securely and our agreement precludes them from using any details for any additional purpose.
What are my rights surrounding the data you hold on me?
You can request deletion of any personally identifiable data we hold on you by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Every newsletter you receive from us will carry an option to opt-out of future communication.
You may also request a copy of all data we store on you by e-mailing the above address. It is your right to have these corrected or amended whenever necessary.
You also have the right to make a complaint about what we’re doing with your data. Please contact us if you’re concerned, but you can also speak to the Information Commissioner’s Office regarding a complaint. Their web address is www.ico.org.uk.
