Partnering with professional services giant KPMG, Progressive Content delivered a range of content including two detailed benchmarking reports.
KPMG is a leading global professional services firm. In 2014, Progressive Content was invited to become a content marketing partner for its financial services team, focused on retail banking, alternative finance and challenger banks. KPMG wanted papers and reports to cement its position as a market leader in understanding FS. These exercises were aimed at raising the profile of senior partners within KPMG, to give greater visibility and credence with clients and prospects.
PCP worked with KPMG to devise a series of forward-looking leadership reports with content that underlined KPMG's credentials in the highly competitive FS advisory space.
The agency worked closely with senior KPMG staff, interviewing many of their senior experts and writing a mix of features and comment pieces to establish a confident tone of voice, helping to position KPMG as a firm unafraid to tackle the major issues affecting the sector.
The first manifestation of this collaboration was the relaunch of KPMG's annual Benchmarking Report. Working with KPMG's internal design agency, and launched at the BBA Conference, the report – Bank to the Future – told senior retail banking leaders what they needed to do in the post-remediation landscape and was extensively covered in the FT, on Radio 4's Today programme and specialist financial media.
Progressive Content followed this report up with another paper on disruption in the banking sector and challenger banking and the trends and innovations driving it. The report was launched as part of KPMG's keynote address at the Retail Banking Conference.
